INTRODUCTION

Trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation is the most dehumanizing trade. A victim in flesh trade is subjected to innumerable physical, sexual and psychological tortures, which leaves irreversible scars on the body, mind and soul. No human person deserves to be forced into a situation that destroys dignity and damages the self for a lifetime. All efforts therefore needs to be taken to prevent such a situation.

Prajwala has designed interventions to prevent sex trafficking at the source through education and awareness and at the destination by confronting the demand.
The aim of the prevention intervention is two-fold. At one end to engage with the potential victims and provide them education and awareness and at the other address the persons responsible to generate demand for behaviour modification.
